I don't *think* this is explicit... the statues have nothing showing...really, but please let me know if it's a problem and I will change it!

Finally this 400 year old hottie is finished. Feeding the Alucard obsession once every three years :heart:. I shudder when I look back at my last painting of him, so I hope this is an improvement lol. A few things that need work on this, but for now I've gotten to the point where touching it more is making it look worse... Somewhat original costume... the basics remain the same but I kind of wanted to do him up in 18th Century goodness

Gaaahh! this is awesome. I love the distorted view of the buildings in the back, but just one little thingy: the steps in the front look kinda a bit small for her to step on.. in fact they have almost the same size as the ones in the back. but all the rest is really great and dramatic.

Colors are well used with in each area of the image dispite your limited pallet, which helped add a sense of depth to this piece. Flowing movement of his clothing that rises behind him seems a bit over dramatic for the pace of down stairs below.

Great work! nice colour choices, details and overall feeling to this. Both the backround and figure are excellent. I realise thats it's probably a stylistic approach, but his nose looks really long for his face, it gives him an odd look I'm not sure I like or not. The lowest flight of stairs are very flat looking.

I hope you don't mind me showing you what I mean with the nose:

It's shortend slightly, I think it gives his face a boost.

Very nice work overall, excellent technique.

Apart from the steps this is truely impressive.

I agree with Juro on the nose thing...but like him can also see it as a stylistic thing, I'm not familiar with the character so maybe he has a long nose for all I know!!

there 's a thing i don't understand: is he supposed to be gigantic for his environment? the lower flight of stairs under his foot look so small. or is he floating in midair?

I´m a big fan of Castlevania and SOTN was the best!
very nice work.

Just one crit, it may be the clothes but i see Alucard a little bit chubby. May be the size of the head.

I have the feeling that the picture is not realy fin. The statues are placed too near in the stair rising and are not sharp as the ground(carpet) that the main figure staping on.
... but u need the statues there...it would be too much emty space ..
You could replace them,unfortunately I also have no solution for this problem ... at most the Surface would have to be filled with a carpet richer in texture

Still it´s a very successful piece of art. I think even the long nose better. This makes the figure interesting(dragon like). I wish u could show me the final version.

top marks. Not as free and expressive as the Robin/Batgirl, but works brilliantly nonetheless thanks to amazing colour scheme and some lovely attention to lighting
