A fanart of my favourite vid-game character... Alucard, Dracula's son from Castlevania Symphony of the Night

. I adore this man... He's such a difficult character to capture correctly, and I havn't been able to do it for nearly five years now, though it's not stopping me from *trying* XD. Beautiful, but masculine, Alucard is!

I don't think I've ever seen a perfect fanart of him... Anyway, more people should draw him....really fascinating character

.

If there are weird unsmoothness, or areas that seem to grey, it's probably because your monitor's brightness is too high compared to mine ;_;. Sorry for the inconsistancy!

i like this alot =D the way you rendered it is very nice! the subtle touches of colour is very pretty as well~ awesome texture =D

the knuckles shouldn't be in a straight line but a curve, if you look at your knuckles you'll see that they don't align in one straight linen rather a curve~

i love it! i do think the skin needs a little touvh of colour though.. he could still be pale, just not completely steel grey. the clothing is amazing though.

Nice rendering and use of lighting... his head seems quite small next to all that bulky clothing though, and he looks really girlish to me. I thought it was a girl at first, in fact.

The almost monochromatic pallete is very nice. The gold tone is perfect! The hair isn't "realistic" so to speak but very stylish . Small crit on his jacket though-the folds seem too crisp, unless it was intentionally painted that way to reflect the actual material of his jacket. Otherwise a superb piece.

Sleek, crisp, very nice. Hate the hair, but his face is so... pretty, yet masculine, like you said. I think it's so difficult to draw Alucard because the official art of him is so absolutely stunning - trying to compare to it is a futile effort at best. Ah, flaws aside, I must +9 this because it's Alucard. Shallow am I.

SHWEEEEET! I luuuuv Alucard cuz he was soo damn stylin in SOTN. I just have two things thatve prolly been mentioned before. The face....im not sure if thats supposed to be moonlight but his face had a little more color to it, and his hair was a little fuller.....dumb details, it still ROCKS! but uhhh, one more thing......i know its a dumb detail, but he had chains holding his cape up. =p

Alucard is definately one of my favorite characters. Although I think you didn't show his personality correctly (in fact for me it's a complete opposite), I do think this is a fantastic picture.
